The X-SB01 system bus connects memory and I/O devices to transmit information from each part. The work of the bus system is only to control and manage the devices connected to the bus through the bus device interface under the role of the bus controller. System bus includes data bus, address bus and control bus, referred to as three buses.
The bus transmits data code, raw data, intermediate data, and results. The system bus is the information transmission line (via the I/O interface) between the CPU, main memory, and I/O devices. Because these components are usually placed on the motherboard or individual plug-in boards, they are also called board level buses.
The control bus transmits the CPU’s request signal to the memory or control command. In the single bus structure, the microcomputer control system is realized and completed by the control bus. According to the type of information transmitted by the computer, the three types of computer system buses are classified and oriented by the control bus and point to other buses respectively.
