ICS TRIPLEX T8311 Fault Tolerant Programmable Controller
Fault tolerant Programmable controller (ICS TRIPLEX) is a kind of programmable controller and process control technology with high fault tolerance. It uses a triple module redundancy structure (TMR) to provide fault tolerance, with each module containing a processor and associated I/O interfaces.
All I/O modules share common functionality and form. At the most general level, all I/O modules interface to the inter-module bus which provides power and allows communication with the TMR processor. All modules are triple modular redundant.
