This power supply is only connected to the units in the cabinet, such as the PM8XX, and also powers all communication interfaces (via the CEX bus) and all S800 I/O units connected to their electrical module bus. The BC810 powers all communication interfaces connected to its own network segment. The TB820V2/TB840 (optical modem for the S800 I/O), also powers all the I/O units connected to its electrical module bus.
