The VM600 IOC4T module can configure the default value of the data in the BIU and the local output default value of the module to be configurable in addition to the default value of the data in the module to be zero or to remain in the final state.

These module local defaults determine whether the module sets the actual output voltage to zero volts or maintains its last value in the event of a module error. If the output default value of the channel is “Keep Last” and a user power supply exists, the channel can be: 1.BIU reset module. 2.

No output data is received from the BIU within the BIU timeout period. 3. The backplane power supply is lost. 4. The watchdog timer of the module expires. The output will continue in its final state until the module is disconnected from the BIU or until the user power supply is disconnected.
