Vibro-Meter is used for the VM600 IOCN input/output card of the CPUM card
The VM600 CPUM and IOCN modular CPU card and input/output card are a pair of rack controllers and communication interface cards used as system controllers and data communication gateways for the VM600 Rack Mechanical Protection System (MPS) and/or condition monitoring system (CMS) of the Meggitt Vibrometer product line.

CPUM Input/output (interface) card
One primary Ethernet connector (8P8C (RJ45)) for communication with VM600 MPSx software and/or Modbus TCP and/or PROFINET communications One secondary Ethernet connector (8P8C (RJ45)), For redundant Modbus TCP communication, one main serial connector (6P6C (RJ11/RJ25)) for communication with VM600 MPSx software via a direct connection two pairs of serial connectors (6P6C (RJ11/RJ25)) can be used to configure the VM600 rack for multi-point RS-485 networking
These and many other cases show that IT security techniques that work well in a constrained IT environment (square piles) may not work in an unconstrained OT/ control system environment (round holes), especially for legacy control system devices and communication protocols. There are a number of cybersecurity tools that are specifically designed for use in a control system environment and work well. However, even these need to be tested before being used with older legacy control systems.
