Breakthroughs in independent core technologies have led to a new industrial pattern
The annual revenue of China’s robot industry has exceeded 100 billion
2023 World Robot Conference released data: The export volume of service robots increased by 62% year-on-year
On August 18, 2023, Beijing Yizhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the “China Robot Industry Development Report (2023)” at the 10th World Robot Conference. Data show that the total annual revenue of China’s robot industry is expected to reach 120 billion yuan, of which the density of industrial robots reached 392 units per 10,000 workers, surpassing the United States for the first time ranked fifth in the world. It is noteworthy that high-end categories such as collaborative robots and medical surgical robots have been replaced by 100% localization and exported to 52 countries along the “Belt and Road”, marking that China’s intelligent manufacturing has entered a new stage of high-quality development.
In the 30,000 square meter exhibition area, Siasun’s newly released flexible collaborative robot can complete chip packaging with a precision of 0.02 mm, and its six-dimensional force control sensor technology has reached the international leading level. According to field engineers, the equipment has been applied in batches to Huawei’s 5G base station production line, reducing the equipment replacement time by 70%.
The continued release of policy dividends has produced remarkable results. According to the deputy director of the Equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, 23 robot industrial parks have been completed and put into operation across the country, and a complete industrial chain covering reducer, servo motor and control system has been formed in the Yangtze River Delta region. Shenyang Siasun, Shenzhen DJI and other leading enterprises R & D investment accounted for more than 15%, to overcome the RV reducer life shortage and other 35 “jam neck” technology.
The field of service robots has shown explosive growth. The fourth generation unmanned delivery vehicle of Meituan achieves centimeter-level positioning under complex road conditions, and the processing capacity of Jingdong Logistics intelligent sorting system is increased to 400,000 pieces per hour. In the medical track, Beijing Tianzhihang orthopedic surgery robot has completed a total of 32,000 clinical operations, reducing the amount of blood loss in traditional open surgery by 90%.
With the in-depth promotion of the “14th Five-Year Plan” robot industry Development Plan, China plans to cultivate 10 eco-oriented enterprises with international competitiveness by 2025, and the average annual growth rate of robot industry revenue will remain above 20%. As Wang Natural, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said in his speech at the summit: “From running with to running with, Chinese robots are writing new coordinates in the era of intelligence.”
